About the PDS Group

Founded and incorporated in 1989 PDS began as Procon Data Systems, Inc. PDS provided a variety of data processing and programming services.

As we expanded our data services to companies across the US, we began to look for additional venues for revenue. We incorporated some of our computers to drive digital rotary and flat bed glass engraving equipment. A new division was launched which is now known as PDS GLASS MEMORIES. We now offer a wide variety of glassware items with custom engraving for both the consumer and commercial markets.

As the requests began to exceed our engraving equipment we turned our attention to etching. We invested in specialized mask cutting equipment to provide quality and detailed blast etching service on both glass and metals.

PDS did considerable testing and research to develop a method of etching graphics into hard chrome surfaces. A new area of service landed in our business, that of putting extremely detailed graphics into chrome for the custom motorcycle and hot rod industry. Our graphics are not affected by heat, weather, or environmental conditions, do not require that parts be removed in most cases, and the finished job is virtually undetectable to the touch. With the need for larger and larger masking to meet customer demand for etching we jumped in with both feet and invested in wide format equipment to cut the large masking for commercial size glass etching work. Today we are proud to be one of the premier glass etching service companies in the Fox Valley.

It wasn't long before we realized that the same customers we service commercially with etching services were requesting we make signs and banners for them. With the vinyl cutting equipment already in place this was a natural cross over. We quickly added the necessary ingredients to provide full service sign making. With the addition of wide format high resolution printing and laminating capability, industrial sewing equipment to handle specialized banners, and a service shop to fabricate custom sign frames the PDS SURFACE GRAPHICS division was now in place.

Our final phase of expansion was to incorporate and expand our blasting capabilities. We now offer graffiti removal, high pressure water blasting, and as with most well rounded blasting services we are portable to meet customer needs for, glass bead, oxide, walnut shell, or soda ash media blasting services on site or in the shop.
